4 upcoming NFT games with huge potential (launching SOON)

i don't know if you've noticed this but there's been a change in the air more and more people who even a few weeks ago were in love with their jpegs are now starting to say yeah those are nice but i want a little more i want to be able to have fun with my nft i want to be able to bring them into a virtual world and i want to be able to dance as my nft in front of other people in a magical pixelated kingdom and if you can figure out a way to give me a little bit of passive token while i do that

then that's even better and there's a term going around for this it's called game phi i didn't make it up i know it's a little corny but basically it's a combination of gaming and real money economies and ladies and gentlemen we might see more activity out of game fi in the next couple of months than we have all year but just like when people realized that nft collectibles were going to be a thing and we got this huge wave of you know low effort projects and rug pulls we're gonna see the same

thing with gaming and if you're not careful your fomo might lead you into one of these switcheroos so today i'm gonna drop a little bit of alpha for you guys and sprinkle it throughout the video and basically what i'll do is go through some games that are launching in the next 30 days or so you know games that i'm either buying in or i've already bought into and you know if you like the games great use this as a starting point for your own research if not you can at least take these frameworks

and apply them to other projects okay so to begin if you've watched this channel before you know i have a filter that i like to use to narrow down the field and to you know find the signal out of the absurd levels of noise that we get in the space and that one check that i use is the talent of the founding team you see the more project relies on utility and future promises the more important it is that you can trust in the team's ability to execute and now we' re dealing with games which are much

more complex than your average collectible set and so you need to be sure that the people handling the wheel can execute and quickly resolve hacks and other game breaking bugs so i need to have a way to gut check the team's track record and if they're anonymous you know they should at least be operating under the same name for a while so that you know there's some reputation behind it and if they're fully docked then their resume should include at least one project that has been successful in

the past so if you're wondering why your favorite game isn't on the list well you know it is possible that i just missed it you know we're getting a project like every 12 minutes but it's also likely that i did look into it but they didn't pass this check having said all this i am going to break this rule of mine later in the video but more on that in a few minutes now before we get to the game fight let me take a minute to talk to you about like fi which is when you take that like button

and you know all right plug is over let's get into it game number one is voxey's and i've mentioned this one on the channel before but it is worth talking about again because we're getting close to the launch of their full game i believe they're aiming for a release by the end of december now voxes are a set of 10 000 nfts currently selling for about .55 each and the nfts give you benefits tied to an upcoming free-to-play ta ctics game that already has a playable demo the closest comparison might

be vox collectibles which was released by gala games and by the way if you're wondering who copied who boxies did come out first but anyways pay attention to the price because vox collectibles are at about 1.7 eth while as we said voxey's are at about 0.55 each with just a slightly larger collection size and the main difference between the two collections is that with vox collectibles you can already earn money t oday through a game called town star whereas with voxey's you can't earn money yet

but that is about to change so let's talk about that and other reasons why i'm bullish on this one so reason number one it has one of the most legit developer teams of any upcoming nft game that i've seen so far they're being led by someone who spent 15 years at ubisoft and ea and they have a good mix of game designers and finance specialists which is important because remember you're building games b ut you're also building economies here so you need both to make this sustainable long term

reason number two the game itself looks way above what most other play to earn games look like the genre itself isn't for everyone you know it's a tactics based game but it is incredibly polished as you can see here okay reason 3 they're taking a very thoughtful approach as to how you as one of the holders of the nft can get value in return even if you don't necessarily play the game so fi rst if you do play the game players can earn vauxhall tokens and nft item drops at random as you complete

quests and win battles and the more rare your voxy the higher the reward rates and after a game you'd receive a summary like this outlining the nfts and voxel tokens that you received there's also going to be an in-game and web marketplace specifically for voxy so that you can trade in-game assets and nfts to other players now let's say you don't want to play the game they are going to have a loan system where you can let other players control your voxi in exchange for a fee and as you can see

here there will be two main fee structures you can either ask for an upfront fee or you can charge a percentage of the voxel tokens that they earn during the loan and this is good for other players as well because you know they can play to earn in some cases for free and it's a system that we've seen in games like axiomfinity except in this case they're building it directly in the game and finally reason number four when you combine one of the original 10 000 boxes with magic stones from inside

of the game then you can actually create brand new boxes that you can resell to other players and so this is how they plan to expand the base of voxies while still rewarding the original owners because only the genesis boxes will be able to do this it's similar to how cyber kongs works where you can combine a genesis kong with bananas to create a baby ko ng which at one point was trading as high as 17 eth so to summarize this one you have a good team a good looking game a solid approach to an

in-game economy that will continuously reward the original holders and i think it's undervalued compared to other similar collections okay next up we have aurori on solana and right now the floor price on the ororians which is their nft collection is at 20 soul or about 5 000 and even as a standalone collection i am a fan of the art direction that they took and i've seen a lot of people use these as profile pics more so than other game related nfts but of course the main reason you're gonna buy

into this collection is because of the utility and so first off you're gonna get a lot of the same benefits that you'll see from other game nfts such as in-game cosmetics access to playable demos and betas you're gonna get nft airdrops etc but beyond that holding an aurorian also gives you a vote in a dow that controls a treasury that is made up of the following things one thousand soul provided by the team one point seven five percent of all nft sales five percent of the supply of ori which is

a games native token and a percentage of the sales for all in-game items so if you're in the dow theoretically everyone can just vote to airdrop you know tokens from the treasury to the holders every single month and if you think the game is going to take off then the percentages from in-game sales could become really substantial now if you can't afford the nft another way to get exposure to this game is with their ori token and you can get this from an exchange like ftx and then stake it for a

period of time and earn rewards along the way and as you can see here the current apr for lock tokens is 190 now they are planning on releasing the private beta by the end of the year and people who hold the nfts have a good chance of getting access to it and given the early sneak peak the game is coming al ong nicely and is looking pretty good but again it's a somewhat narrow genre built around turn-based battles okay so the next game is elluvium zero now most people are already familiar

with elluvium the game and i'm not gonna get into it too much on this video you know all i'll say is that i think it's one of the first nft games that could truly go mainstream i think the tokenomics are insane so if you want to hear more about that i do have a video on it which you can check up here but most people might not realize that there's a mini game called elluvium zero which is set to come out before the main game there's no confirmed date yet but the whisper eta is that it'll launch

within the next month or so and it's going to be a great way to get exposure to elluvium itself in terms of gameplay alluvium zero is a more casual city builder where you're laying out your buildings and infrastructure to mine resources by itself it could be a fun side game but the m ain value proposition here is that you can buy land as nfts in alluvium zero and the land is going to give you a few benefits that do tie into the main game for example you'll get blueprints which are essentially

recipes that let you craft items in the main game with cosmetic upgrades and you'll be able to sell these blueprints to other players who might want those skins you'll also be able to mine fuel on your lan which is going to be an erc20 token that will act as a currency in the main game used for fees when you pay for things like traveling and perhaps most importantly landowners will receive five percent of total in-game revenue from elluvium the main game so as you can see here in this great

infographic the land is going to be released in batches and with different rarity tiers with the higher tiers allowing you to mine more resources and get more benefits the first batch of 20 000 parcels of land will be released in january with the cheapest star ting at a price of 0.5 each and then going down in price every minute through a dutch auction until they all sell out now one thing to note here is that you can also buy land with silv which a lot of people have been getting passively by

staking their ilv tokens so i think there's gonna be a lot of inherent demand for these and you know we've already seen appetite for land and other games such as axi infinity so honestly i wouldn't be surprised if these all sell out without going m uch lower than their starting prices okay next up we have kaizen corpse on solana and this is where i'm gonna break that rule that i mentioned earlier in the video sort of you see kaizen corpse is a newly announced game with an anonymous team that has

pretty recent twitter accounts now normally this would be a red flag for me and i would pass but just by chance i happen to be working with someone on another project on solana who is close to the kaizen team in real life and basically gave me the scoop that they're legit and that they're fully committed to the project so that was good enough for me to take a second look and also a good example of how these rules you know can't be super inflexible because the world is messy and we're always

going to have exceptions now this doesn't guarantee that the game is going to be good or even popular but it does give me confidence that at least it's not going to be a rug pull anyways kaizen corpse is set to release its f irst batch of nfts on december 12th at a mint price of 0.77 sol with the price slowly increasing with each batch after that for a total of just under 10 000 nfts and i am planning on buying in so let's get into the reasons why first off what you have to know is that there's

been a theme in nft gaming where these teams you know they make huge promises of you know future aaa games that they're gonna make with all the bells and whistles and in reality it's a lot harder than you think a nd even if the idea behind the game is good you know it's likely that you're going to end up with pretty crappy graphics and the chance that it's a glitchy mess goes up the more complex the product becomes most of the teams in the space don't even have game experience yet they're out

here trying to make the next world of warcraft if you mention any of this to people who actually work in the game space you'll start to realize how unlikely this is now of course i do think we're goin g to see a couple of you know these aaa nft games emerge but there's another class of games that i think are going to be even more popular next year and that's social games maybe there's a better name for this but basically think of game theory based games that you can play in discord channels with

you know simple on-chain mechanics or even with simple websites and you know there's minimal actual virtual world gameplay like you would expect from say a console game we've seen puzzle g ames take off with collections like lost poets by poc and neo tokyo and i think it's still a very underexplored category these types of games are more lightweight and so it's easier to go to market with them and to fine-tune them based on user feedback and because they're social it's the type of game that you

know easily gets shared on twitter and other social media platforms and you know that's the prime marketing space for nfts so going back to kaizen core that's exactly what this is or at least what the first version of this game is gonna be they're taking the structure of domination which is a popular tabletop game and they're combining it with on-chain mechanics and discord social gameplay to be specific players are split into different factions and they compete for dominance during a 24-hour

cycle as they say here in the first version of the game the only tool that players will have at their disposal is faction-specific discord channels this is where al l the planning and strategizing will take place among faction members once faction members have decided on a course of action individual players will submit their move for the cycle early next year they do plan on creating a polished dashboard for the game but even that will be much more lightweight than the typical promised game that

you'll see from other projects if you're interested in this game i do recommend going through their medium which i'll link in the description and you're gonna quickly see how thoughtful they're being about all aspects of the game from the art to the game theory to the lore now aside from the games that we've mentioned today next year we are going to get our first batch of aaa blockchain games and i highly recommend keeping tabs on them in 2022 we're getting eluvium which we spoke about already

but also phantom galaxy by animoka brands you know the guys that brought you sandbox then you have big time which is going to be a massive m ultiplayer rpg you have guild of guardians which is a highly anticipated mobile game and further out beyond 2022 you have mirandis by gala games and star atlas which by the way is actually releasing a dashboard on december 9 to let you stake your ships and finally earned tokens but the point is that you know really big multi-million dollar nft games are

being developed and they're gonna continuously find ways to reward the people that were there along the way you know chatting in

4 upcoming NFT games with huge potential (launching SOON)
